About Haydon Haddock
Rising Red Dirt singer-songwriter Hayden Haddock is quickly becoming an artist you need to know. With more than 100 tour dates per year, Haddock’s diligent nature mixed with his traditional, authentic style of country music has quickly solidified his spot as a staple in the Texas Country scene. In the past year alone, Haddock has had two singles reach the Top 10 in on The Texas country charts; an impressive feat. for the young talent. His current single “Honky Tonk On” is quickly climbing the Texas charts while celebrating editorial playlist placement on Spotify’s Texas Music Now. The Texas A&M Senior released his sophomore album Red Dirt Texas in 2020 with hit producer/songwriter Trent Willmon (Cody Johnson, Eric Church, Randy Houser) at the helm. Since its release, Red Dirt Texas has racked up more than 2 million Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music streams and Haddock has received more than 1 million YouTube views.
About Trent Willmon
After years of playing in bands around Texas (including upright bass for bluegrass legend, Karl Shifflett), he found himself in Nashville, TN as a side musician playing bass and guitar for other artists. In between sessions, he would also continue to work on local horse farms outside of town. Trent signed his first publishing deal with Seagayle Music and soon after started a band called “Cow Camp” whose members included hit-songwriter Clint Ingersoll on lead guitar and Granger Smith (Earl Dibbles, Jr.) on steel. While playing the Nashville Broadway bar scene and a house band gig at Big Jim Country in Lewisburg, Trent honed his chops as a front man, landing him a record deal with Sony / Columbia. In 2005, Willmon released his debut self-titled album and broke into the industry with featured videos on CMT and GAC. Over his solo career, he released four different albums that are still available for listening today.

Better known as Douglas Martin Adkins, he has 10 albums to his credit in 30 years from 1990 to 2020. Raised in Havre, Montana, born to an educator father he grew up singing alongside his sisters. He also played the trombone in his school years and won the solo trombone state level championship for four years in a row.

Tunedly Announces Masked Music Discovery Platform
Industry innovation levels the playing field for independent musicians
Tunedly, a global online music production and publishing source that recently inked a deal to partner with the international music publisher, Spirit Music Group, today announced its latest industry innovation: A masked music discovery platform.
“The problem with existing music discovery services is that they replicate existing inequalities in the music industry,” says Chris Erhardt, CEO and co-founder of Tunedly, which began its digital operations in 2016. “Unsigned artists are at a disadvantage because it’s not a true level playing field, and they are judged on more than just their music.
“Our solution is an app that is the first ever masked music discovery platform – it strips all identifying information from an artist so their music can be judged purely on its own merit.”

CD Review: Michael Lane – Traveling Son – by Antony Bailey for Country Music News International
German artist Michael Lane’s ‘Traveling Son’ is his fourth album to date and was released back in October 2019 shortly before the beginning of the pandemic. It was self-produced alongside Greywood records, and it is available to purchase on all digital platforms. It is safe to say it had a positive impact on the thriving country scene not only in the U.S but in his native Germany. The album, comprising of twelve songs in total is emotive and evokes memories of a bygone era which is arguably what makes the album a must listen for anybody who is yet to hear it.

Morgan Wallen Is Dangerous by Snehashree Mandal for Country Music News International
Morgan Wallen is born to a preacher and very early in life took piano and violin lessons. Wallen also played baseball but then he moved towards music after sustaining an injury in a baseball tournament. In 2014, Wallen competed in Season 6 of The Voice but then he lost it.
