About Patrick Gibson:

Making music is nothing new for Patrick Gibson, but the heart behind his songs is newly inspired. Patrick has been singing since he was in third grade – hopping on stage with his dad’s southern rock band in Florida – plus playing the guitar and writing songs since he was 12. Patrick, now 38, has recorded a handful of singles and four albums, toured the country playing concerts and other gigs, and is a well-known for performances at the House of Blues in Orlando and throughout the state.

Songs of his like “Florida,” a contender to replace “Swanee River,” as Florida’s state song in 2007, “Daddy’s Little Girl,” and “Florida Cracker Country Boys,” remain popular, and as a member of the Grammy Recording Academy, his music was placed on the official Grammy ballots two years in a row; not to mention that he personally attended the 60th and 61st annual Grammy Award shows in New York and Los Angeles.

Patrick returned to the chase with his new radio single “The American Prayer,” a song he wrote following racially spurred turmoil between citizens and law enforcement throughout the nation during 2020. Since then, Patrick and his local team have partnered with Nine North Records Nashville, and together, are pushing to the song to radio nation wide.

About Kylie Morgan:

EMI Records Nashville’s Kylie Morgan began writing songs in her hometown of Newcastle, OK when she was only 12 years old. A masterful storyteller, the singer-songwriter released her music independently in her early teens, garnering national attention from music producers and television executives. At the age of 16, she was named “Who New To Watch” by the Country Music Association. This early success led Kylie to begin making regular trips to Nashville, crafting her voice and polishing her songwriting. When she turned 19, she made the decision to call Music City home. Recognizing Kylie’s unique talent, the SMACKSongs team signed her to their roster under the guidance of GRAMMY Award-winning songwriters, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne. An avid yoga enthusiast, Kylie has earned her official Yoga Alliance Certification and participates in yoga daily as it has become part of her lifestyle. Kylie recently released her autobiographical new song “Boys Girl” and was just selected as one of three artists for the CMA KixStart program where she will receive unique opportunities to participate in events as well as connect with industry professionals. Kylie has previously toured with artists including Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Gavin DeGraw, Brett Eldredge and Billy Currington. Kylie was named as part of CMT’s Listen Up Class of 2019 and will be performing shows across the country this year, opening for Jon Pardi, Kip Moore, Devin Dawson, Lady Antebellum, Carly Pearce, and more. Kylie is currently in the studio working on her debut album with producers Shane McAnally and Ben Johnson.

Single Review: Lakeview – Message In A Bottle – by Matt Belyea for Country Music News International

I love it when I hear an artist’s song that makes me want to dig deeper into what they are about.  Lakeview is this kind of artist, a need-to-hear duo comprised of Jesse Denaro and Luke Healy who hail from Pittsburgh and made the move to Nashville.

CD Review: JT Lewis – Good Times – by Matt Belyea for Country Music News International

When you try to make a stew, and you have a recipe. And you decide that it needs to be a bit more, adding this and that, borrowing a little beer and sunshine, a little Buffett and some Church throw in for good measure. Sometimes the mixed-up stew just doesn’t taste all that good. Unfortunately, that’s kind of what JT Lewis delivers here on his release “Good Times”.

Caroline Jones 10 Country Artists You Need to Know – by Snehashree Mandal for Country Music News International

Music is a strange bug and bites many, and it did hit Caroline at the young age of nine. She learned singing and, at ten, crafted her first song. It is an age when children choose their careers, and most decisions come straight to these children from a divine source, or so it seems. But, then some get carried away by other paths, and some do get back to the path in a while.

John King Interview by Karen Cotton For Country Music News International

Raised in the Appalachian foothills of northern Georgia, John King listened to a wide range of musicians —southern rockers like Lynyrd Skynyrd and The Black Crowes, classic craftsmen like James Taylor and Johnny Cash, and ’90s country stars like Garth Brooks and Alan Jackson — and worked construction jobs as a teenager.

CD Review: Surrender Hill – A Whole Lot Of Freedom – by Ritchie Ritchison for Country Music News International

A Whole Lot of Freedom

Turn this Train Around

Winter’s End

Carry On

Broken Down Car

Chase Me Down

Beautiful Wren

Lucky Star

Spend on Love

Healing Song

Will You Pass Me By

Wanderer

Winter in America

I’m Gonna Get it Right

Waiting On a Dream

Badge of a Punk Rock Band

Live for Today

The Ballad fo Rebel Wingfield

Surrender Hill calls themselves an Americana Duo. I have never been clear on the whole Americana title but if throwing Guy Clark, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Matchbox 20, John Hiatt, Emmylou Harris, Kathy Mattea, John Prine and Jack Ingram into a blender and mixing it up really good, then yes Surrender Hill would qualify as Americana.
