producer, Grammy winner, recording artist. Frank Myers is one of
those rare show business figures that has truly achieved success in
multiple facets of the music industry. Recognized as an in-demand
songwriter from the 1980s to the present, Myers has penned hits for
artists such as Lonestar (“I’m Already There” and “My Front
Porch Looking In”), Alabama (“Once Upon a Lifetime”) and Chris
Young (“Tomorrow”). In 1995, he and frequent collaborator Gary
Baker received the Grammy for Best Country Song for “I Swear,” a
No. 1 hit recorded by John Michael Montgomery.

“Lift You Up”, begins the album
with a lone keyboard. Its soft tone really gets you set as Ayla’s
vocals come in. It opens the album showing off their vocal and lyric
talent. It really gives you that desolate feeling, I assume which
reflects the winters in Canada. That lasts the first 39 seconds of
the song, and just when he says, “Lost in desolation’s sound,”
he’s painted that picture across the cold winds, snow and the small
town. Then the Sound Men come in. First, a set up hard chords mixed
with the light keyboard. Then, the drum beat kicks-in, and the tempo
picks-up to almost hard classic rock.

safe to say that Molly Lovette has figured out a tremendous formula.
However, the trick to sustaining further success will still always
come down to the same attribute that it always has; powerful songs
that connect the artist with the listener.

Pandemic Reopening Blues: Not! The
worst thing about the pandemic for me is not knowing how to plan for
the future, so I guess you have to create the future for yourself? By

The worst thing about the pandemic for me is not
knowing how to plan for the future. Keep my band sharp, keep myself
sharp. When I will be able to return to Nashville to finish my album,
and whether or not my recently cancelled September make-up date will
ever put me in front of Aaron Neville, or anybody in the for seeable
future?
