Mandolin Orange to Perform at “Music at the Mansion” on May 28, Presented by Americana & Come Hear NC – Raleigh, NC

The
Americana Music Association® has announced a partnership with the North
Carolina Arts Council’s Come Hear NC initiative. The collaboration
between the two organizations will officially kick off May 28 with a
special celebration at the North Carolina Executive Mansion in Raleigh –
running through the association’s 20th annual AMERICANAFEST® in
Nashville this September. The Executive Mansion concert on May 28 will
feature a special performance from Chapel Hill, NC natives Mandolin
Orange, whose most recent album “Tides Of A Teardrop” debuted at #1 on
four Billboard charts – Heatseekers, Folk/Americana, Current Country
Albums and Bluegrass – after its February release on Hillsborough,
NC-based Yep Roc Records.

At the Executive Mansion event, Americana Music Association Executive
Director Jed Hilly and North Carolina Arts Council Executive Director
Wayne Martin will detail Come Hear NC’s presence at AMERICANAFEST 2019,
which will include music showcases and educational panels throughout the
week of September 10-15 in Music City. First Lady of North Carolina
Kristin Cooper will host the “Music at the Mansion” event, featuring a
reception, this special announcement from Come Hear NC and Americana,
and an intimate Mandolin Orange performance.
