Kelly’s musical roots run deep within the Texas music scene. She honed her craft in the lively honky-tonks and bars of her home state, first captivating audiences as part of the classic rock cover band, Big Dave & The Freaks. She further refined her sound in the duo Modern Day Drifters, and later as Kristen Kelly and the Modern Day Drifters.
