Interview with Trinity Bradshaw

Interview
with Trinity Bradshaw

Lamitschka:
Music has many new fans throughout Europe who may be hearing about
you for the first time. How would you describe yourself and the music
you play to someone who has never seen or heard you?

Trinity
Bradshaw:  I’m a dreamer with a fire inside. I sing Country
music, but I love to incorporate pop, roots, rock and folk influenced
sounds into my music.

Lamitschka:
How was the last year for you? What were your highlights?

Trinity
Bradshaw: Last year was a great year for me! I performed in
Toronto, LA and made many trips to Nashville… it is already quite
the dream come true! I really grew as an artist and a writer. I met
tons of talented writers, producers, players, and artists along the
way, who taught me a lot. In 2013 my intentions were not to take over
the music world, but was rather to make the right connections and
introduce Trinity Bradshaw to the world. 2014 is the start of a new
chapter…lots and lots of excitement to come!

Lamitschka:
What is your latest EP and how’s it doing?

Trinity
Bradshaw: I released my first official self titled EP in March
of 2013. I am very happy with the outcome…it created the traction I
needed to move forward in my career. Every song is close to my heart
and means a lot to me… since then my sound has gone a little more
rough around the edges with fun story lines and lots of southern
sounds.

Lamitschka:
Do you write the songs yourself? If not, how do you go about finding
the songs for your CD?

Trinity
Bradshaw:  2013 was the year of the co-writes for me. I use to
write every song from top to bottom, sitting with my guitar, a piece
of paper, a pen and my emotions. Co-writes showed me that I could be
more playful and feed off of the energy of the other writers… the
writing experience is completely different – for me anyway. I went
from writing heartfelt ballads and breakup songs…to writing songs
about having fun and living life on the edge.

Lamitschka:
Please tell us about the songs on your upcoming EP (influences,
etc).

Trinity
Bradshaw: More fun and a little more sass… we have definitely upped
the anti. I’m super duper excited for the listeners to hear the new
tracks!

Lamitschka:
What is your favorite song among all the songs you have recorded and
what’s the story behind it?

Trinity
Bradshaw:  My favorite song that I have written, was a co-write
with my Manager Trey Mills…It is titled “Be Yourself”…We
have not yet found the right time to release it, but it makes me feel
good just listening to it.

Lamitschka:
Do you have any interesting stories about how fans have been affected
by your music?

Trinity
Bradshaw:  I receive so many wonderful messages on a regular
basis…this is what keeps me going. Without every “Like”,
share, retweet, comment or message, I would have given up a long time
ago…My fans are my back bone and the reason I keep my sanity.

Lamitschka:
What inspired you to become an artist?

Trinity
Bradshaw:  Music. It is the number one thing that makes me
completely happy… It’s a great relationship that we have…Music
and I.

Lamitschka:
What inspired you to become a songwriter?

Trinity
Bradshaw:  When I was younger, I had no idea that a lot of the
songs that I would hear on the radio, had not been written by the
artist themselves. I figured that they all wrote their own music, and
that it was essential that I do to. Now I realize of course, that
there are so many talented people in this world that continue to
write and pitch songs for a career…and those are the people who
inspire me to keep going.

Lamitschka:
What drives you?

Trinity
Bradshaw:  There is no better feeling than achieving something
that you set your mind to. It is so exhilarating and I am very
addicted to completing my goals… Painting a picture has always
helped me stay driven. I don’t mean physically painting a picture,
but having a vision of where I will be.

Lamitschka:
Many European fans travel to Canada to attend the several of the
music festivals for the opportunity to see so many of their favorite
artists, bands and celebrities. Will you be participating and how
will the fans be able to find you?

Trinity
Bradshaw:  We are now booking for 2014 spring and summer
festivals all over Canada! All dates will be posted on my website!

Lamitschka:
Many music fans today get their information about artists online. Do
you have your own website and what will fans find there?

Trinity
Bradshaw:  I sure do! My website is trinitybradshaw.com. I am
also on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook…I’m a social media
addict.

Lamitschka:
What’s your favorite song that you wish you could have recorded?

Trinity
Bradshaw:  House that built me is one of my all-time favorite
songs. It is perfectly written, and I felt immediately attached the
first time I heard it.

Lamitschka:
What message would you like to send your European fans?

Trinity
Bradshaw:  Dream big. As long as you believe that you were meant
to do it, you can. Never let anyone come in the way of achieving what
you wish you achieve in this life… anything is possible. Always
remember to remain true to yourself.
