Nashville, TN – Nov. 14, 2011 – Award winning singer/songwriter and lifetime road warrior Wade Bowen releases the first single “Saturday Night” this week from his forthcoming studio album on Sea Gayle/BNA Records. The new track reflects Bowen’s dynamic live show and signature songwriting and officially goes for adds at country radio today. Seventeen stations across the country from San Jose to Kansas City, Denver to Hartford have jumped on board early, already adding the track.

“I wouldn’t be here today getting the opportunity to record for a major label if it weren’t for all those shows I played and for all those die-hard music fans at home coming out to see me,” said Bowen. “They are the reason I am being afforded this opportunity. When it comes to my intent as a musician, I’ve not changed anything since day one. I’ve only tried to mature and to get better, and I think ‘Saturday Night’ is representative of that.”

Thirteen years after launching his career at Stubb’s Barbecue in Lubbock, TX, Bowen’s new music isn’t a debut, more like a fresh start on a bigger stage. He has made a living of 200-plus nights a year on the road and patient grassroots fan development. With eight No. one’s on the Texas Music Chart, multiple awards including 2009 Texas Music Awards’ Male Vocalist of the Year and the 2010 Lone Star Music Awards’ Live Act of the Year, three studio albums and a Live At Billy Bob’s CD/DVD combo at the iconic club in Fort Worth under his belt, the Texas native is currently in the studio recording his first album for a major country label.
