Rising country star Tyler Rich is making waves with the release of his new music video for “Whiskey Go Bad,” a vibrant celebration of seizing the day, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Directed by John Asher and Jay Diaz, the visually engaging video, filmed at The Late Great in Nashville’s Virgin Hotel, captures the spirit of the song perfectly, inviting viewers to embrace the present and let go of waiting for “perfect” moments.

“Whiskey Go Bad” serves as a powerful reminder that life’s most precious memories are often made in the here and now. As Rich eloquently states, “It’s about embracing the present and not waiting for the ‘perfect’ moment to enjoy life. It’s a reminder that the best moments are happening now, and saving things for a future ‘special occasion’ can mean missing out on the memories being made today.” The song uses the metaphor of top-shelf whiskey, often saved for special occasions, to symbolize the things we hold onto, urging listeners to savor the good stuff—whether it’s whiskey or time—before it “goes bad.”

The music video, set in a bustling bar, perfectly encapsulates this message. Rich’s lively performance is interwoven with scenes of patrons dancing and enjoying High West Whiskey, creating an atmosphere of carefree revelry. Adding to the excitement are special appearances by acclaimed singer-songwriters Clayton Johnson and Erin Kinsey, both of whom will also be joining Rich on select dates of his highly anticipated “The Hello California Tour.”

“Whiskey Go Bad” is one of ten tracks featured on Rich’s newly released album, “Hello California” (ONErpm). The song, co-written by Rich, Blake Bollinger, and Reid Isbell, is set to be a highlight of his headlining tour, which kicks off this week.
