Nashville, TN- Aug. 26, 2014- Country icon Tim McGraw is preparing for the release of his upcoming album,
SUNDOWN HEAVEN TOWN
(Big Machine Records), with a brand new single, “Shotgun Rider.” The
breezy track touts romantic notions with an infectious melody and is
available to radio
today via Play MPE.
“This is one of those songs that really paints a picture and sets a
mood,” says McGraw. “In my mind, you look over and see the person that
you love next to you sitting in the front seat, and you think, ‘How good
do I have it? Life is perfect.’ There is a certain warmth to this
song and several others like it that really establish the tone for the
whole album.”
As McGraw eyes the release of SUNDOWN HEAVEN TOWN, he’ll team up with award-winning director Bennett Miller (Moneyball, Capote)
on release day, Sept. 16, for the popular live stream music series
“American Express Unstaged” at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom at
9:00 PM ET.
