Randy Houser
Los Angeles Times

wrote that Randy Houser adds “grit to the genre” with his 2008 debut
album ANYTHING GOES, which positioned the Mississippi-born,
soul-drenched country singer and songwriter to become one of the next
big artists to emerge in the genre. “Anything Goes” catapulted into the
Top 20 after an appearance on Late Show with David Letterman and
the follow-up hit single, “Boots On,” reached Top 5 on Billboard and
Mediabase charts. The album landed Houser nominations at the 2009 CMA
Awards and the 2010 ACM and CMT Awards. Houser co-headlined his first
tour with longtime pal Jamey Johnson on CMT ON TOUR ‘09 and completed
his first USO tour overseas with Johnson and Kellie Pickler in January
2010 before joining Gary Allan on the GET OFF ON THE PAIN TOUR later
that year. His sophomore album, THEY CALL ME CADILLAC, was released in
September of 2010 and was met with praise from The Washington Post and The Boston Globe, among
others, naming it a top release of the year.  After touring alongside
Willie Nelson on the Country Throwdown Tour, Houser went back into the
studio to work on his first album on Stoney Creek Records.  His latest
radio single, “How Country Feels” hit radio airwaves in early May and
has remained one of the most-added country singles at radio each week
since its release. The single is the first release from his forthcoming
album is slated for Fall/Winter 2012.  www.randyhouser.com.
