Taylor Swift, Toby Keith and Kenny Chesney Make Forbes List of Highest-Paid Musicians

Taylor Swift, Toby Keith and Kenny Chesney are the country acts
included on the 2012 Forbes list of highest-paid musicians. Swift and
Paul McCartney tied at No. 8 with estimated earnings of $57 million
each. Keith and Justin Bieber tied at No. 10 with $55 million each.
Chesney landed at No. 17 with an estimate of $44 million.
Based on concert performances, royalties from his music catalog and a
successful line of headphones, Dr. Dre had estimated earnings of $110
million to top the list for the period between May 2011 to May 2012.
Rounding out the Top 5 are Roger Waters ($88 million), Elton John ($80
million), U2 ($78 million) and British vocal group Take That ($69
million).
