Nashville, TN (October 23, 2012)– Force
MP Entertainment’s Steve Richard had a whirlwind of a week during the
2012 Inspirational Country Music Week in Nashville, TN. The 2009 ICM
“New Artist of the Year” kicked off the celebration on the historic
General Jackson Showboat where he and duet partner Laura Dodd performed a
set in front of an all industry crowd featuring selections from both of
their current projects, including a new collaboration “The Rock On
Which I Stand.” Steve was also presented an award at the Media
Appreciation Luncheon for his Power Source #1 song, “Toothbrush.”
During the award show, Richard, proudly accepted the award for
“Video of the Year” for “Love’s Gotta Go Somewhere,” making him the
first ever independent artist to win this award in the history of the
ICMs! This category included nominations for mainstream artists such as:
Big & Rich, Martina McBride, Lauren Alaina and Blake Shelton. He
was also honored with nominations in the categories of “Song of the
Year” and “Entertainer of the Year.”
Dodd and Richard took the stage during the show where they debuted
their new single, “I See You In Everything.” The song will be featured
on both Steve and Laura’s upcoming albums and is currently available on
iTunes.
