Grammy Winning Soggy Bottom Boys Reunite For First-Ever On Stage Performance For March 22 Show at Ole Smoky® Tennessee Moonshine Distillery
    Members of Superband Have Won 47 Grammys
NASHVILLE — February 20, 2014 — The Soggy Bottom Boys—the
rollicking old-time string band featured on the silver screen and known
for the Grammy winning “Man Of Constant Sorrow” — has reunited for a
special performance Saturday, March 22, at the Ole Smoky® Tennessee Moonshine Distillery (also known as The Holler™) located at 903 Parkway in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  It is a free show that starts at
5:00PM.
This performance marks the first time The Soggy Bottom Boys will appear as a stage band.
Led by Dan Tyminski of Alison Krauss’s award-winning Union Station band, the group includes Barry Bales, Block, Stuart Duncan and Mike Compton
Bales and Block are also members of Union Station.  Duncan and Compton
have played on hundreds of records and dozens of hits. For years, Duncan
was a member of the widely acclaimed Nashville Bluegrass Band.  Compton
was featured in the house band on the fabled “Down From The Mountain Tour.” In total, these five musicians have won 47 Grammys.
 The concert will kick off Ole Smokey Moonshine’s 2014 concert series.

are thrilled to bring an influential group like The Soggy Bottom Boys
into The Holler to kick off our 2014 musical programming,” said Ole
Smoky Moonshine founder Joe Baker.  “Music and moonshine go hand in
hand, as they bring folks together, and we are so looking forward to
entertaining our guests with The Soggy Bottom Boys great sounds.”
