Next week during CMA Fest, fans from all over the world will
convene in Nashville to meet their favorite country music stars. And on
that list, this year, is Scott Southworth. The award-winning
singer/songwriter has been on radio and festival stages around the globe
earning rave reviews in publications worldwide and taking home a couple
of top honors for his album, “Hey Hillbilly Singer!”
Fans of his honky tonk style can catch Scott Southworth up close
CMA Fest week, beginning at the live KIIC Classic Cafe broadcast from
the Yard Sale of the Stars at the Music City Bar and Grill on Tuesday,
June 4th at 12 noon. Southworth will visit with radio host Beth Hunter
and perform some of his original music. He will also be signing
autographs for fans in the middle of all of the nostalgic memorabilia
available to fans.
Scott Southworth will then host the annual Moore and Moore Fan Club
Party. Southworth joins his Music Row co-host, Heino Moeller to
entertain the crowd at the Nashville Nightlife Theatre on Tuesday, June
4th from 6pm to 10pm. The lineup includes the hosts, Carrie and Debbie
Moore, Mel Tillis Jr., Moe Bandy Joe Stampley, Wade Hayes, Bill Anderson
and Mark Wills. Southworth will also perform his hit songs.
A radio podcast interview follows on Thursday, June 6th from the
historic Ernest Tubb Record Shop in downtown Nashville. Scott Southworth
sat down with Fast Line Fast Track host Brent Adams for an acoustic

Meanwhile, the buzz around Scott Southworth’s hardcore, honky tonk
music continues with his brand new release to radio. “Wish I Was Here.”
And fans overseas are experiencing his songs through video in
Disney Village at Disney Paris. The visually mesmerizing productions
are shown on the big screen at the theme park.
Scott Southworth is looking forward to sharing a stage with some
other popular music stars from France later in the month. On Friday,
June 14th, Southworth performs alongside European stars Marie Dazzler
and Mr. Jay at Douglas Corner in Nashville.
Scott Southworth’s songwriting and recordings have generated a
number of accolades over the past year. His album, “Hey Hillbilly
Singer” was named the Academy of Western Artists Pure Country Album of
the Year, as well as the North American Country Music Association
International (NACMAI) Adult Country Album Horizon Award winner. The
album also topped the Airplay Direct Top 50 Country/Alt. Albums Chart.
