SECOND GENERATIONS JULY ON RFD-TV

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND–“SECOND GENERATIONS,”
TO AIR IN JULY ON RFD-TV

Country’s Family Reunion Continues to Document the Songs
and Stories of Country Music’s Legendary Family

Nashville, Tenn. (July 6, 2012) – When it comes to
country music, it is hard to find a show that does a better job of
documenting the legendary family tree than Country’s Family Reunion. The series “Second Generations” brings together the children of country music legends such as Marty Robbins, Conway Twitty, Faron Young, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Roger Miller, Johnny Russell, Hank Williams, Dottie West, to share stories and the songs their parents made famous. Excerpts from “Second Generations,” will return by popular demand to RFD-TV throughout the month of July and will feature appearances by the Michael
Twitty (son of Conway Twitty), Robyn Young (son of Faron Young), Jett
Williams (daughter of Hank Williams), Georgette Jones (daughter of
George Jones and Tammy Wynette), Dean Miller (son of Roger Miller),
Ronnie Robbins (son of Marty Robbins), Shelly West (daughter of Dottie
West) and MANY MORE,
proving that the roots of country music run deep and talent doesn’t fall far from that tree.

The series (sic) “was named appropriately, because many there were the
children of so many of our friends who had passed way too soon,” said Opry member Jan Howard.
“If you had your eyes closed when these ‘kids’ were singing, it was
like hearing once again the voices of Carl Smith, Faron Young, Roger
Miller, Tammy Wynette, Marty Robbins”.

RFD-TV will air a new “Second Generations” show each Friday at 7 PM and Saturday at 5 AM and 11 PM in July. (All times are Central, schedule subject to change without notice—check local listings for airtimes.)
