SAMMY ARRIAGA SIGNS WITH LATIUM RECORDS

Cuban Country Singer/Songwriter Abuzz For “Cold in Miami”

Nashville, TN (March 9, 2016) – Latium Entertainment is proud to announce the signing of country newcomer Sammy Arriaga to their LA-based Latium Records, which is a venture
with RCA Records and Sony Music International. The 23-year old,
Miami-born Cuban singer/songwriter is quickly becoming known for his
unique pop country sound that melds the bold rhythmic elements of his
Latin heritage with infectious melodies.

“We pride ourselves on crossing both worlds of pop and Latin, and have
been on the search for the country singer that can live and perform in
both worlds,” said Latium Entertainment’s CEO Charles Chavez, whose
company was longtime manager for global superstar Pitbull and is also
home to MAGIC!, Kat Dahlia and Shy Carter. “One day Sammy Arriaga walked
in my office to pitch writing Spanish songs and told me he was a
country singer living in Nashville. He played the guitar and sang, and I
got on the next plane to Nashville to take him to Sony. Get ready
world!”

Arriaga is already bringing the heat with his latest single “Cold in
Miami,” that he co-wrote with Aaron Scherz and James Slater. Produced by
Wondrboy, the reflective song about lost love highlights his suave
vocals and was recently featured in iHeartCountry’s Digital Integration Program. Media is raving about the newcomer with the Miami Herald
noting him as “the next artist to emerge on the Country music scene
from Miami since The Mavericks” and CMT selecting him for their 2016
“Artist Discovery” campaign.

Building a strong fan base, Arriaga has been playing shows nationwide
and previously shared the stage with Trace Adkins, Love and Theft, Chase
Rice, Cassadee Pope and more. He is gearing up to join LOCASH on select
dates, including Knoxville, TN (3/12) and Springfield, IL (3/26).

Singing and playing guitar ever since the age of 14, Arriaga made the
move to Nashville in 2011, when he plugged the famed Tootsies Orchid
Lounge into his GPS and drove 998 miles straight to Music City.

Sammy Arriaga is managed by Latium Entertainment and represented by
publicity agency Sweet Talk Publicity. He is also signed to Sony/ATV as a
songwriter.
