Nashville, TN (April 12, 2011) — The Roys pull into Nashville’s storied Station Inn on Thursday, May 5 for a free, hour-long performance on 650 AM WSM Radio’s monthly Station Inn Sessions With Mike Terry.  Lee and Elaine sit down with Mike at 5 p.m. CT for a live interview that will broadcast worldwide via www.wsmonline.com. The Roys’ lively, full-band set kicks off at 6 p.m. CT, and concert-goers and radio listeners will be treated to songs from their new CD and more.  The appearance is the duo’s first in Nashville since the March 22 release of their debut Rural Rhythm Records’ CD, LONESOME WHISTLE, which currently sits at #7 on BILLBOARD’S Bluegrass Album Chart.
“It should be a blast,” says Lee Roy of the upcoming show.  “We have so much that we’re thankful for and we are ready to celebrate,” adds Elaine Roy.  In addition to the hot BILLBOARD chart number, the bluegrassers’ latest single, “Coal Minin’ Man,” is picking up speed, landing at #4 on the BLUEGRASS MUSIC PROFILES chart and debuting on the BLUEGRASS UNLIMITED chart at #30.  The video remains on GAC-TV’s Top 20 Country Countdown ballot, and fans can vote for Lee and Elaine at http://bit.ly/VOTE4THEROYS. “We’re pretty excited about it,” remarks Lee.  “Our fans are really showing their support.
