Christian Lamitschka:  What is your favorite song among all the songs you have recorded and what’s the story behind it?

 

Richard Lynch:  Back in 1953 about my Dad

 

Christian Lamitschka: How much creative control do you have over your music?

 

Richard Lynch: 100%

 

Christian Lamitschka: There’s a lot of work that goes into a number one hit. What did it take to make it in your case?

 

Richard Lynch: The ability to put my life experiences into music.

 

Christian Lamitschka: Do you have any interesting stories about how fans have been affected by your music?

 

Richard Lynch: Some of my songs have been committed to be played at fans funerals and one big supporter has had 2 large tattoos with names of 2 of my song on her arms

 

Christian Lamitschka: Who inspires you musically and how deep do your musical roots run?

 

Richard Lynch: My Dad and it runs deep, even before I was born

 

Christian Lamitschka: What do you think about today’s music scene versus its post and where do you see it going in the future?

 

Richard Lynch: I dont care for the new country music, its not country and doesnt sound like the music I grew up on , that my Dad performed and loved.

 

Christian Lamitschka: What do you think about today’s music industry?

 

Richard Lynch: The industry has become a play for pay scenario, as an independent artist we have to make our own industry, social media and the internet has helped us with that

 

Christian Lamitschka: If you had the chance to change something about the music industry, what would it be?

 

Richard Lynch: Put the country back in country music, lose all the bro, hip hop, rap, pop influences.

 

Christian Lamitschka: As an artist, you so many tasks such as recording, touring, interviews. What do you like best, what’s your favorite activity?

 

Richard Lynch: Performing for genuine entertained audience that is enthused about the music

 

Christian Lamitschka: Are you doing anything to take music beyond its current borders or are you happy where it is?

 

Richard Lynch: Doing everything we can to expose my music around the world.
