July 15, 2011 Nashville, TN.— Lucy Angel’s musical roots are entrenched in their family heritage. The modern family music trio consists of mother, Kate and her two daughters, Emily & Lindsay Anderton, who grew up together with music as a constant presence in their lives. Lucy Angel’s glossy harmonies and compelling good looks are starting to catch the attention of music fans. Now, the ladies areramping up their efforts to share their music on a broader spectrum by amassing a team of entertainment pros to take them to the top.
Lucy Angel’s new single, “Serious” continues to climb the country radio charts.The ladies are travelling coast-to-coast visiting radio stations with their team of veteran radio promoters, which now includes Jerry Duncan, Jan Woods, Anne Weaver Price, Jay Thomas, Jack Pride, Sam Cirami, Christina Bear, Johnny Mitchell, along with the Quarterback Records team. Now they have entered the Billboard charts for their first time and hold a top 31 spot on Music Row’s Breakout Chart.
The release of their self-titled, Lucy Angel, debut EP on their own independent label, G-Force, has garnered the band glowing reviews along with recent attention from Hollywood. The trio just signed on with powerhouse talent booking company, PARADIGM AGENCY to help in negotiations with a major cable network for their own a reality/documentary television show, as well as touring and sponsorship opportunities.
Lucy Angel is a tight knit unit that is re-defining the term “family band.” There have been many famous family bands over the years like Jackson Five, Bee Gees, Jonas Brothers, Hanson and Kings of Leon. However, not since the Judds has there been a band that included the matriarch of the family.
Look for the Lucy Angel to make their first appearance at one of the largest annual music festivals in the U.S., Country Thunder, on July 22 in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. They will perform amongst some of the biggest names in country music.
