Nashville.”

NASHVILLE, TN (August 29, 2012) – Country Rockers LiveWire has released its latest single “Lies” via All Access DownloadsThe song is going for immediate airplay and is available for download by radio programmers here.  “Lies,” also for sale on iTunes, is from LiveWire‘s forthcoming full-length debut album on Way Out West Records, slated for release later this fall.
Written by the band’s lead singer Andy Eutsler,
the track has been a fan favorite in live concerts since the group
first started performing it last year.  Eutsler recounts the inspiration
for the song:“Through the mindless rhythm of laying brick on my
house one day, a melody started to form.  During that time it seemed as
though all of my ‘friends’ on Facebook were breaking up and putting it
out there for the world to see.  I knew the truth of some of those
stories, so as the melody rattled around in my brain, the words started
coming naturally . . . ‘make it all done between you and I, but don’t
make it lies.'”
“Lies” was produced by
Justin Woods and features the studio musical talents of the six members
of LiveWire along with guest musicians Todd Gummerman on keyboards
(from alt-rock band MUTEMATH) and Mike Johnson on steel guitar.  The
track was mixed at LOUD Studios in Nashville by award-winning engineer
Julian King (Chris Young, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw).
A six-piece band based in Joplin, Missouri, LiveWire features lead vocalist Eutsler, lead guitarist Bobby DeGonia, drummer Adam Hagerman, fiddle player Cory Shultz, rhythm guitarist Danny Bell and bassist Landon Rolfe
Since the release of the band’s well-received debut single “Tater Fed,”
a self-titled EP and two music videos last year, LiveWire’s music has
drawn a strong following.  Word of the group’s powerful live
performances has spread among fans and helped to grow an already
impressive touring schedule to include more fairs, festivals and concert
appearances.
LiveWire’s music has
found success at Country radio both in the U.S. and in Europe.  The
video “Miracle Of The Human Spirit,” which benefitted the group’s
tornado-ravaged hometown, received airplay on CMT Pure, The Country
Network and Yallwire, among other outlets.  In addition, LiveWire’s song
“What Makes You A Man” was nominated Country Song of the Year by the
11th Annual Independent Music Awards in March; the band won the
fan-voted award earlier this month.
The group’s unique
musical sound is edgy, honest and passionate–blending elements of
working man’s Country with rootsy Southern Rock.  Chuck Dauphin with
Music News Nashville says the band has “some sounds of Marshall Tucker, some of Rascal Flatts and some of Montgomery Gentry–and it all works.”
