Kevin Fowler is here to help you break in that broken
heart with his brand new lyric video, another sneak peek from upcoming
album BARSTOOL STORIES. The toe-tapper chronicles Fowler’s
feel-good exploits to help him get over a recent love. No surprises
here: Fowler turns to the time-tested combination of whiskey, country
tunes, and a dance floor.
With George Strait-esque fiddle and steel guitar moving Fowler through
the classic refrain, “Breakin’ in a Broken Heart” is an instant country
classic, through and through. The tune was written by Bart Butler (Jon
Pardi), Jessie Jo Dillon (George Strait, Maren Morris), and Chase McGill
(Little Big Town, Luke Bryan).
“Fiddle, steel guitar, and getting over heartbreak at a dance hall?
Sounds like a darn good country song to me,” says Kevin Fowler. “Try it
on for size — if you’ve ever felt the same, it’ll fit like a nice old
glove.”
Fowler has kept fans happy by teasing a handful of new songs leading up to the release of BARSTOOL STORIES,
including “Better With A Beer,” which has achieved the “Most Added” and
“Most Spin Increase” honors from the Texas Regional Radio Report for
three weeks in a row. The song’s video has also earned hundreds of
thousands of views across social media.
Fowler’s highly anticipated new album BARSTOOL STORIES comes out August 23rd.
