(Nashville, Tennessee) –March 10, 2011 – Odds are “The Gambler” will deal audiences a winning hand guaranteed to be long remembered when the iconic Kenny Rogers marks his historical return to the Grand Ole Opry stage this Friday night, March 11th.   The event will remarkably be only Rogers’ third Opry appearance in an unparalleled music career that has celebrated half a century of worldwide success.

Rogers’ highly anticipated return to the Opry stage comes as a center-point of a major resurgence of his music, visibility and creativity.

Central on the music side is the March 7th release of The Love Of God – a gospel-themed CD that sets Kenny Rogers apart as the first artist to release a second album project as an exclusive part of the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store® music series. With strong street week sales of the new CD already being scanned, Rogers is poised for a blitz of national visibility during March.

This Sunday (13th) GAC-TV will air Kenny Rogers: The First 50 Years. The star-studded special, originally taped in 2010, features some of “The Gambler’s” most celebrated friends including Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, Wynonna, Lionel Richie, The Oak Ridge Boys, Smokey Robinson, Alison Krauss, Chris Isaak, Billy Currington and Darius Rucker, among others.
