(Nashville, TN – 03/22/2011) On March 8, 2011, country music artist KC Johns officially released her sophomore album Carousel Ride and she has wasted no time bringing the album and its lead single “Fishin’ In Daddy’s Pond” to radio stations around the Mississippi and western Tennessee areas.
The day of the album’s release Johns made the trek south of her hometown Hernando, MS and visited several stations in Cleveland, Batesville, Winona and Grenada, MS and this past week made stops in Tupelo, MS hand delivering copies of her album to program directors as well as performing some of the new music including the lead single “Fishin’ In Daddy’s Pond” and the upcoming single “Carousel Ride” live on their morning shows.
Johns says on her station stop experiences so far, “This has been an amazing opportunity to promote my single and get to know the radio DJ’s that are playing my music. Everyone has been so nice to me and I have loved every moment.”
This morning KC Johns continues to visit with stations in Jackson, TN promoting the new album and current single “Fishin’ In Daddy’s Pond” and next week she visits Memphis, TN based radio followed by stops in Arkansas on April 5th.
“Fishin’ In Daddy’s Pond” has been added to six more stations in the Mississippi area, and is receiving the heaviest spins from Southaven, MS based 95.3 The Rebel, one of Johns earliest radio supporters.
