Radio Tour starts in Clarksdale, MS; continues throughout March

(Nashville, TN – 3/11/11) On Tuesday March 8th KC Johns officially released her sophomore album Carousel Ride to the public and instantly hit the campaign trail for the album’s lead single “Fishin’ In Daddy’s Pond” and next single “Carousel Ride.”
The day of the album’s release she headed south of her hometown stopping at radio stations in the Clarksdale, MS area performing her current single “Fishin’ In Daddy’s Pond” as well as doing on air interviews promoting the new album and single.
Earlier this morning on the Live at 9 programming of Memphis CBS affiliate News Channel 3, Johns performed acoustically debuting her forthcoming upbeat, summer single “Carousel Ride,” the title track to her sophomore album.
Johns says excitedly as she looks back on her week, “It’s been absolutely incredible; I’ve enjoyed meeting everyone and performing at all of the radio stops so far. I hope to gain new fans while we continue the radio tour throughout MS and into TN and AR promoting the new album’s lead single “Fishin’ in Daddy’s Pond and this summer’s single “Carousel Ride.”
Johns will continue to promote her music throughout March stopping at radio stations in Tupelo, MS, Jackson, TN and Memphis, TN and will grace the cover and have a full hometown feature in Today’s Country Magazine’s April issue.
