Nashville, TN (September 4, 2014) — Country newcomer KAYLA ADAMS kicked off the Mountain Madness Airshow with a performance at the event’s Pre-Flight Party for the USAF Thunderbirds on August 29 in Kalispell,Montana.
A native of the state, the vibrant young star is currently lighting a fire at radio with her debut single, “Sober & Sorry”(SSM
Entertainment). The track, a Rock-tinged, straight-shootin’ Country
girl’s answer to good love gone bad, currently sits at #42 on the MusicRow Chart. Adams’ visit home wrapped up a seven-week radio promo tour in support of the single.
“It’s always an
honor to play before your hometown crowd,” notes the talented
singer/songwriter. Kayla has fond memories of attending previous
airshows with her family; to be performing before the large crowd this
year was definitely “a blast.”
Adams’
life has become something of a thrill ride of late: she recently
wrapped a video for her current single, and has been busy writing songs
for an upcoming debut album with some of Nashville’s top tunesmiths.
This summer, Kayla has entertained audiences at The Lucky Mule (Abilene,
TX), Arbuckle Ballroom (Davis, OK), ATV Races (Cresco, IA) and the
world-famous Wildhorse Saloon (Nashville). She also recently sang the
National Anthem at the Baseball State Championship in Centerville, IA.

An avid
outdoorswoman whose thought-provoking songwriting is as melodic as it is
memorable; Kayla draws inspiration for her songs from the wide open
spaces of her Montana farm upbringing. One of the most exciting young
female contemporary Country singers to hit the Nashville music scene in
recent years, Adams captivates live audiences with her honesty and a
genuine love for people and for the music. At 24, she is already a
veteran of years on the stage – as both a band member and solo performer
– in her home state and throughout the U.S. To date, Kayla has shared
the stage with Kellie Pickler, Rodney Atkins, LL Cool J, Heidi Newfield,
and Smashmouth. A self-proclaimed computer geek, she has attended
both Belmont University (Nashville) and the famed Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music (Hollywood).
Kayla currently resides in Nashville with Tory, her Yorkshire Terrier.
She loves giant roller coasters, enchiladas, Italian food, her Smart
Car and Ford F350 Superduty Crew Cab Long Box truck. In her spare time,
Adams enjoys Snowboarding, boating, wakeboarding and hunting.
