John King Releases “Try Saying Goodbye”

Road warrior, family man and hit songwriter John King is releasing his newest single “Try Saying Goodbye”
today via all digital outlets.  The single, a mid-tempo tune penned by
King, Paul DiGiovanni and Jamie Paulin, that explores the universal
difficulties of negotiating relationships, hits close to home for King.
He’s been with his high school sweetheart since he was 15 and
understands the importance of shallowing your pride for the sake of
relationships.

“This is hands down one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written,” says
King.  “Looking back, there were so many times I almost let my pride get
in the way of what was really important.  When we wrote this song, I
tried to imagine what it would have been like if I would have said
goodbye in tense situations.  I would have missed out on so many
blessings in my life.”

King and the single are getting an influx of support from the music industry.  Taste of Country exclusively premiered the tune yesterday here and the music video will premiere on CMT on February 15.

“With fresh melodies and lyrics mixed with old school believability,
John King is a serious new artist you’ll need to have on your
playlists,” praising CMT Music & Talent team.

“Try Saying Goodbye,” follows King’s last singles “Heat Wave,”  “I
Still Pick Up” and “Never Wanna Be” that debuted on Spotify’s New Boots
playlist and garnered over three million cumulative streams.
