Owen’s new album, Barefoot Blue Jean Night, Available In Stores Monday, August 29

Nashville, TN – Jake Owen’s 2011 summer anthem and Top 10 hit single, “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” was digitally certified gold by the RIAA last week. Within one week, “Eight Second Ride,” a track from his previous album Easy Does It, has been certified gold as well.
Yesterday, Jake performed several songs from his forthcoming third studio album at “Jake on the Lake,” an industry event held just outside Nashville at Anchor High Marina. After his performance, Jake was surprised by executives from Sony Music Nashville with not one, but two gold digital single plaques (PHOTO ATTACHED).
“It is awesome to feel the support from everyone when we are out on the road,” says Jake. “It is equally as awesome to feel the support of the music community. I’m so grateful that I get to hang out with such an amazingly talented group of people everywhere I go.”
