Jagger Whitaker, born and raised in the heart of Mississippi, where he was introduced to the world of music by his father. Growing up Jagger would play drums alongside his dad and it was this experience that would inspire Jagger to become the country rock musician he is today.
Jagger was always drawn to the raw energy of country music & the spirit of rock & roll and so he began to teach himself how to play the guitar whilst mastering his skills as a songwriter. Jagger’s father passed away at a young age which inspired him to truly follow his dreams of becoming that country rock & roll artist he is today.
January of 2021, Jagger made the decision to move to Nashville, the home of country music. It was there that he would truly grow into his craft as an artist, drawing inspiration from the legacies and vibrant culture of Music City.
Jagger’s unique blend of contemporary country & rock & roll has caught the eye of music cities finest folks. He has opened up for country music artists such as, John Langston & Tyler Farr. Jagger is releasing his debut EP this year, which he is currently recording in the studio, alongside his up-coming singles. His signature blend of country & high energy rock & roll will rock your world and is a force to be reckoned with. Jagger’s music has the ability to transport the die-hard and new listener to a world of raw emotion and unrestrained passion.
