Giving Tuesday – Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers Make Donation to IBMA Foundation

The International Bluegrass Music Association’s (IBMA) Entertainers of the Year, Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers (JMRR), are celebrating “Giving Tuesday” by making a donation to the IBMA Foundation with help from patrons of the Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival.

Held
twice annually, the Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival is hosted by
JMRR and produced by the Mullins family. During each fall festival, JMRR
hosts a “Fan Feast Breakfast” to benefit a worthy cause. Patrons of the
breakfast pay a small fee to attend while JMRR members earn “tips”
serving guests plenty of delicious biscuits and gravy donated by Tudor’s
Biscuit World. This year, the benefactor is the IBMA Foundation which
will receive a donation of $2000.

The
IBMA Foundation supports programs and initiatives fostering the growth
of bluegrass music, and provides an efficient and effective means for
individuals and organizations with a passion for bluegrass music to
support a brighter future for bluegrass music through charitable
donations and planned giving.

“Since
the IBMA first organized in the 1980’s, encouraging youth and
educational opportunities has been at the forefront of the association’s
efforts,” says Joe Mullins. “With the growth of the IBMA Foundation,
providing educational funding has become a consistent reality. Our
donation will help the Foundation provide an annual IBMA bluegrass
college scholarship. Thanks so much to all of our fans and friends who
have assisted JMRR in our festival fundraising breakfasts. We’re so
grateful to play a small part in sewing seeds for future growth in the
bluegrass community.”

As part of Giving Tuesday, the IBMA has launched the #morethanmusic
campaign, encouraging financial support of the IBMA, IBMA Foundation,
and IBMA Trust Fund, all entities who offer emergency assistance, music
education, and career development throughout the year. For more on the
