George Jones is in the hospital again with a respiratory infection. A
spokesman says the 80-year-old singer will undergo testing and
evaluation for a lingering upper respiratory infection at a hospital in
Nashville, Tennessee. His concert dates through June will be rescheduled
where possible.
Jones spent about a week in the hospital in March and hasn’t returned
to the stage since. He was to perform this weekend at the Loretta Lynn
Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. Jones will miss seven more shows in
Georgia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Arizona and Nevada.
