Gary Allan offers a story of hope in the video for his new single,
Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain). And the country singer hopes to use the
video, premiering exclusively at USA TODAY, to encourage fans to donate
to the Red Cross for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

Allan was supposed to play Atlantic City the weekend the hurricane hit.
“Obviously, that got canceled,” he says. “Two weeks later, we shot the
video, and it all seemed to make sense.”

Allan wrote Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain) with Matt Warren and Hillary
Lindsey, who sings harmony on the track and is part of Allan’s band in
the video. “She’s one of the most creative people I’ve ever been
around,” Allan says.
