Toronto, ON – Fresh off their American Music Award (AMA) win for Single of the Year (“Cruise”), Florida Georgia Line announce four Canadian tour dates this February opening for Jason Aldean’s Night Train Tour.
Performing in Oshawa, Hamilton, London and Ottawa, the breakout duo
will cross the border into Ontario for the first time in the New Year.
   
Following their AMA performance with Nelly on Sunday, the duo released the deluxe edition of their debut album HERE’S TO THE GOOD TIMES…THIS IS HOW WE ROLL (Republic Nashville/Big Machine Canada/Universal Music Canada) on November 25 and made coast-to-coast national TV appearances on E!’s Chelsea Lately, NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (11/27), Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (11/28) and on ABC’s Good Morning America (11/29) this week.
In
Canada, Florida Georgia Line has been newly crowned the #1 Most Played
Country Artist at radio in 2013, having launched three consecutive,
multi-week #1 smashes including the Gold-certified “Round Here,”
Platinum-selling “Get Your Shine On” and 6X Platinum “Cruise.” This
year, they have made history breaking the record for the longest #1 on Billboard‘s
Hot Country Songs Chart with their single “Cruise,” which has sold over
6.1 million downloads in the US alone and is the second best-selling
Country single ever (SoundScan). To date, Florida Georgia Line is the
only artist in history to join Brooks & Dunn in having their first
three singles hit #1 for multiple weeks each.
The talented twosome has been racking up several awards’ show nominations, including seven fan-voted American Country Awards
and will perform on the upcoming show. Florida Georgia Line has
previously taken home multiple ACM, CMA and CMT Music Awards and
garnered several TEEN CHOICE nominations.
