A letter to friends and fans
Hello friends and fans,
As you know, the holidays are very rapidly approaching. Fittingly, I recently decided to release my take on the classic “Jingle Bell Rock.” I still wholeheartedly believe in the power of love and peace, and look forward to spreading some of both this Christmas season. Stay tuned for more info on how you’ll be able to listen to and download “Jingle Bell Rock.” For now, check out the tune on Soundcloud.
Fortunately, I won’t have to wait until the holidays to hang out with my favorite folks. I have a couple of fun shows coming up, and I’d love to see you there. First, I’ll be opening for the Eagles tribute band The Long Run on Saturday, November 12 at The Canyon in Montclair, California. You can find ticket info here. Then on Saturday, December 10, I’ll return to The Canyon stage when I open for synth pop icons Berlin. Some tickets for this show are still available here. I can’t wait to hear these two bands that represent some of the most iconic sounds of the 70s and 80s.
Speaking of sounds, have you joined the 66,000+ folks who have watched my video for “Dreaming With Me” on my YouTube channel? Check it out, and then subscribe to the channel I proudly call home for all my audio and visual content. Lots more stuff is on tap, so tune in.
As I mentioned last time, I am currently an ambassador for Joe Blasco Cosmetics. Simply put, this is the best stage makeup I’ve ever used. Here you can see me putting on some of my favorite stage makeup right before my recent show at Cafe Coco. Just a reminder: You can get 15% off the best cosmetics in the world when you mention my name on the Joe Blasco Cosmetics website.
Joe Blasco himself recently explained why we’re working together:
“Now more than ever, women are taking charge and owning every aspect of their lives. Eileen Carey is a prime example of just that. She shows that at any age, a woman is powerful and filled with purpose. Her essence inspires all she comes in contact with, and her music is a sheer force for positivity, truth, and empowerment. She is without a doubt music’s best-kept secret.”
Once again, I’m thrilled to remind you about my blog The Music Mom. It’s where I share my thoughts on music, motherhood, and this miracle called life. The blog has allowed me to interact with countless other music moms who believe that kids and careers can go hand in hand. Because they can.
As always, thank you for your continued support online and in person. It means everything to me, and I look forward to meeting those of you who I’ve yet to meet. Remember to live every day motivated by the three words that capture my approach to life: passion, positivity, and persistence.
Until next time,
