Rising from the Brooklyn underground, Dynasty Electric’s explosive live
shows and unique blend of electro pop and psychedelic punk rock has
earned the group critical praise and and attention from around the
globe. Fronted by the powerful and seductive Jenny Electrik and featuring the densely layered production and live instrumentation of Seth Misterka, their retro-futuristic pop sound surreally falls somewhere between Madonna, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Jefferson Airplane.
Fast forward to 2012, the duo recently signed to New York label NoShame and released their first single “Electric Love” (with guest drummer Brian Chase from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs) in late 2011, then locked themselves away in the studio with production team ‘Tenderflex’ (producer/mixer David Maurice and critically acclaimed turntablist DJ Logic) to finish their highly anticipated forthcoming album due out later this year.
