Doug Briney “Unknown Soldier” campaign for veterans

Award-winning
country music artist and veteran supporter, Doug Briney will guest on
WNKY TV’s “Bowling Green Today,” on Memorial Day, May 26th. He is
promoting his “Unknown Soldier” donation campaign for veterans’
charities.

Management Group is proud to announce Doug Briney will appear on
“Bowling Green Today,” to promote his “Unknown Soldier” donation
campaign, which benefits veterans charities. Doug will tape the
interview on Friday, May 23rd, 2014, and it is scheduled to air on
Monday, May 26th, 2014, Memorial Day, at 9am on WNKY TV
in Bowling Green, KY. Check local listings for station information.

The
airing of the interview will coincide with the release of Doug’s new
single and video, “Uknown Soldier,” which will be released on Memorial
Day.  â€śUnknown Soldier” is taken from Doug’s Tate Music Group
release, Super Country Cowboy. Written by Tedd French and Bob
Dellaposta, the track tells the story of the selfless men and women who
have given their lives in service of their country.  Sales of the
single, through Doug’s website at http://www.dougbriney.com,
will be donated to veterans’ charities. The donation campaign will
begin with the release, on Memorial Day, and run through Labor Day,
September 1,
2014. A “Download And Support Our Veterans” button will be placed on
Doug’s website, to redirect fans to the mp3 download.
Doug
Briney is a 2013 Independent Country Music Association Award Winner and
a 2014 Nashville Universe Award Nominee. His debut album, It’s All Country spent
8 consecutive months on the roots music report airplay charts, and it
reached #11 on the itunes New Country Releases chart. Super Country Cowboy reached
#58 on the itunes Inspirational chart. Based in Nashville, he has
performed at venues throughout the midwest. Doug is also a Bright Star
International artist.
