Dawn Sears & Friends Benefit Raises Over $100,000

NASHVILLE — December 4, 2014 — The tallies are in and the Dawn Sears & Friends Benefit for Lung Cancer Research
held on November 30 was a great success raising over $100,000 for the
Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center.  Sears attended the show and spoke on
behalf of lung cancer research.  Reba McEntire, The Time Jumpers and Riders In The Sky all performed.  Olympic gold-medalist Scott Hamilton emceed the event.  Also on hand was Sears’ physician Dr. Leora Horn and Ingram Professor of Cancer Research Dr. Pierre Massion.  Both took brief turns at the podium to talk about lung cancer research and also to commend Sears on her perseverance.
