 David James (MDM Recordings Inc. /Universal Music Canada) releases his new single “What We Weren’t Looking For”. A melodic love song, exploring the intoxicating surprise of an unexpected romance, the song was co-produced by Darren Savard (Dallas Smith) and Carly McKillip (One More Girl), and co-written by Kenneth Duncan, Jay Brunswick and Josh Dunn; check out a preview lyric video here: http://goo.gl/Ndklhb. Earlier
this month David collaborated with Encounter Films, and shot a new
music video for the single in Toronto with Director Amit Dabrai.  The
video for “What We Weren’t Looking For” will be debut on CMT on March 14, 2015.

Exclaims David, “The release of this single
has been over a year in the making.  I love this song, and I cannot wait
to share it with my fans!  This song is my favourite to perform live…
it just stirs up so many emotions in myself, and the audience response
has been truly amazing.”

Winnipeg native David is a Canadian country music singer/songwriter, who
describes his sound as “melodic pop-rock influenced country”. 
Continuously developing new material, he frequently travels to
Nashville and will perform during CRS at the MDM Recordings Inc.
listening session party on Feb. 24, 2015, followed by a Canadian radio
tour in spring 2015.
