Country Starlet Crystal Day Spotlights Courage, Cancer and Military Sacrifice in New “Brave” Music Video
Rising
country artist Crystal Day is celebrating the release of a brand new
music video for her song “Brave.” The song, which is the title track of
her current EP, spotlights the courage of those that are affected by
cancer and military sacrifice. The emotional video is available today on
YouTube.
“There’s
just so much complexity and a universal message in this song,” says
Day, who grew up singing the National Anthem at her father’s racetrack
in Virginia. “It’s one of my favorite songs to sing live. It means a lot
to me because I currently have family members in the military and
fighting cancer.”
Fans of the video can purchase the song on iTunes here.
In
addition to “Brave,” Crystal’s EP features four other songs that evoke
the very best of her musical influences, which include power female
vocalists like Shania Twain and Katy Perry. The project was produced by
Biff Watson (Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw) and highlights
Crystal’s soaring vocals and impressive range. It has been garnering
positive reviews since its release earlier this year.

About Crystal Day
With
a set of pipes as impressive as her relentless drive to succeed,
Virginia native Crystal Day has been singing her heart out for as long
as she can remember.  As the daughter of a racetrack owner, Day grew up
singing the National Anthem at NASCAR speedways all over the south and
became accustomed to entertaining crowds at a young age. Her passion for
country music and captivating stage presence earned her performance
opportunities at Universal Studios for the World Championships of
Performing Arts and the Amsterdam Music Festival, where she was the
youngest American ever invited to perform.
After high school, Crystal moved to Los Angeles, Calif. where she landed a leading role in the movie The Passing and co-starred alongside Paul Gleason (The Breakfast Club, Die Hard).
While acting, Crystal also began studying at the Songwriting School of
Los Angeles. Her musical passions eventually led her to Nashville,
Tenn., where she currently resides. The bubbly brunette recently
released a brand new five song EP, Brave, which was produced by
industry veteran Biff Watson (Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw,
Lady Antebellum, Charles Kelley, Martina McBride).

Crystal’s talents, however, don’t stop at performing. Day has also penned a children’s book, Mason the Bull,
which she was inspired to write after her father was seriously injured
in a terrible bull accident on her family farm. For upcoming tour dates,
