Joining the CROWE BROTHERS on their album is an all star group of bluegrass musicians who have won Grammy, IBMA and/or SPBGMA awards including: Randy Kohrs, Steve Sutton (Jimmy Martin, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage, Alecia Nugent), Ashby Frank (Special Consensus, Mashville Brigade) and album co-producer / musician Steve Thomas (J.D. Crowe & The New South).
Each song on BRIDGING THE GAP was carefully chosen to showcase the CROWE BROTHER’S powerful vocals including: “He Could Pick the Hound”, “Eighteen Wheels”, “Trusting In My Lord” and “If I Had My Life To Live Over”. Other album highlights include new versions of their # 1 hit single on the Bluegrass Unlimited Top 30 Song Chart, “The Winds Are Blowing in Maggie Valley”, and fan favorites “Grandma’s Little Boardside Cabin” and “I’m Going Back to Old Virginia”, originally recorded with David McLaughlin on the classic Crowe & McLaughlin 1994 album.
The CROWE BROTHERS are coming off their highly successful last album BROTHERS-N-HARMONY, which contained the #1 SiriusXM hit single “Cindy Mae” along with their incredible performances on THE ALL-STAR JAM – LIVE AT GRAVES MOUNTAIN that received an impressive five 2011 IBMA nominations including a nod for Album of the Year.
BRIDGING THE GAP will be available 10.11.11 wherever bluegrass music is sold for both the physical CD and Digital album.
