WITH PROCEEDS BENEFITTING THE T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION

Nashville, TN…(June 13, 2013)… Rising country music star Craig Campbell
kicked off CMA Fest with a bang by hosting his inaugural Celebrity
Cornhole Challenge. Craig and his celebrity friends competed in a
cornhole tournament to raise money for the TJ Martell Foundation’s colon
cancer research in honor of Craig’s late father who passed away from
colon cancer at the age of 36.

The event took place Tuesday June 4th at the Public Square in
Downtown Nashville, and featured many of Craig’s celebrity friends,
including Bridgette Tatum, Dean Alexander, James Wesley, Ryan Kinder,
Big D & Bubba, Chase Rice, THE FARM, Gloriana, Greg Bates, Jerrod
Niemann, LoCash Cowboys, Love and Theft, Rachel Bradshaw, Whitney
Duncan, Australian duo Baylou, GAC’s Suzanne Alexander, Titans Kicker
Rob Bironas, and Storme Warren as emcee. A few lucky fans bid on the
chance to play in the tournament alongside their favorite celebs.
Campbell and his teammate Eric Lindsey proudly posed for photos with
fans and their trophies after taking the top spot in the tournament.
Second place went to Brad McDonald and Corey Hadley, third to LoCash
Cowboys, and fourth to Bigger Picture artist Ryan Kinder and Bigger
Picture President, Michael Powers.

In addition to watching their favorite celebs battle it out with
beanbags, fans also enjoyed great musical performances from Baylou,
Rachel Bradshaw, Ryan Kinder, Jerrod Niemann, and Craig himself closing
out the event with a crowd-pleasing performance of his hit “Fish”. The
event was a huge success, collecting more than $15,000 with proceeds
benefitting the TJ Martell Foundation.

“I’m immensely grateful to all my fans and friends who came out to take
part in my first Celebrity Cornhole Challenge. It meant a lot to have so
much support in our efforts to toss out colon cancer,” says Campbell.
“We are already making plans for next year’s event, and I’m strategizing
how to land a win again in year two!”

As Campbell wraps his first Cornhole Challenge and begins planning for
next year, he is also excited about his lead single “Outta My Head”
climbing into the top 25 on the Billboard Country chart.  Written by
Brandon Kinney, Cole Swindell, and Michael Carter, the song is featured
on his recently released sophomore album NEVER REGRET, available now everywhere music is sold.

Generous event supporters included Bigger Picture, Creative Artists
Agency, McPherson Guitars, SESAC, Team Cocktail, The T.J. Martell
Foundation, Twisted Tea: Hard Iced Tea, Yazoo, The Stage, Legends
Corner, Second Fiddle, Crossroads, and more.

ABOUT CRAIG CAMPBELL: After moving from his hometown of
Lyons, Georgia to Nashville in 2002 to pursue his country music dreams,
American Country Awards nominee Craig Campbell quickly picked up work
as a keyboardist in Luke Bryan and Tracy Byrd’s bands and was later
discovered playing a regular gig at legendary Nashville honky-tonk, The
Stage. Since signing with Bigger Picture, he has entertained crowds
across the U.S., Australia and Switzerland, performed for national TV
audiences on Fox & Friends, Huckabee and Marie and has been profiled in HLN’s series Road Warriors.
The singer-songwriter has earned well-deserved praise from the
country’s toughest critics for his 2011 self-titled debut album, which
has sold more than a half-million tracks. Campbell’s autobiographical
lead single, “Family Man” was a top 15 hit followed by fan-favorite
“Fish.” His current smash “Outta My Head” is the lead single from his
sophomore album, Never Regret, which is out now.
