Country singer-songwriter Tori Martin asks the question “What Would Dolly Do?” if she were in her shoes upon the release of her new single from her highly-anticipated album Lucky
to be released in June 2020. The song is currently available through
all streaming platforms and digital retailers and is already creating a
buzz following its international release day premieres Friday on
Nashville’s Radio Sobro NuMu FRIDAY as well as The Sports Guys/Backstage-Pass Podcast out of Texas, appropriately representing both of Martin’s home states. Listenhere.
The
catchy uptempo track with whimsical harmonies was co-written with John
Cirillo, Sarah Spencer, and produced by Bill Warner. Martin commented,”‘What Would Dolly Do?’ was
written with total inspiration from Dolly Parton. She is a woman who
lives unapologetically and has never given up… one of my true heroes! I
wrote this song as an ode to myself but also to inspire others to never
quit and just keep going. Dolly feels like a fairy godmother and
hopefully, this song will sprinkle a little magic every time you hear
it.”
Martin
co-hosts the “Music Biz Besties Songwriter’s Series” at Just Love
Coffee in Nashville and is currently adding new dates to her tour
schedule.
