Lamitschka: Music has many new fans
throughout Europe who may be hearing about you for the first time.
How would you describe yourself and the music you play to someone who
has never seen or heard you?

Answer: I am really a simple guy. I am
a father, a grandfather and a friend first. I write record and
produce music as a second priority in my life. I enjoy writing songs
about things that happen in my life and in the lives of others
involved in my life. I think my experiences gained over time, and the
relationships I have built give my music a different look at many
things. Whether that is related to relationships, changes I have been
through, and or social and political commentary, I draw on my life
lessons to document the things I see and the things I have learned
over the years.

Bill Abernathy – More Than Meets The
Eye

Bill Abernathy has released a string of
successful singles and albums, starting with 2017’s Find A Way,
featuring the #1 Roots Music Chart single, “Goodbye Will Never Come
Again.” Abernathy continued his streak with another hit album,
Crossing Willow Creek, which included the politically charged radio
hit “Cry Wolf,” as well as 3 other international hits. All
totaled, Abernathy’s music has been streamed more than 1 million
times. This is a testament to the connection that Bill has found with
his fans, cultivated by countless livestreaming performances and a
successful 2020 pre-Covid Southwestern US tour.

My World of Cover Songs – (An artist
has to make the song their own.) – By Eileen Carey

Recently, as a member of the Grammy
Academy, I have been receiving requests to vote for people and their
music this year. One was a cover of the John Lennon song “Imagine”
and it dawned on me that there are some songs a singer just has to
sing to complete themselves, whether they wrote it or not. Of course,
a cover has to have a fresh rendition of it for it to be more than a
copy. An artist has to make the song their own.
