About Rhonda Vincent:

Rhonda Lea Vincent (born July 13, 1962) is an American bluegrass singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Vincent’s music career began when she was a child in her family’s band The Sally Mountain Show, and it has spanned more than four decades. Vincent first achieved success in the bluegrass genre in the 1970s and ’80s, earning the respect of her mostly male peers for her mastery of the progressive chord structures and multi-range, fast-paced vocals intrinsic to bluegrass music. Vincent is an in-demand guest vocalist for other bluegrass and country music performers, appearing on recordings by Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson, Tanya Tucker, Joe Diffie, Faith Hill and other notables. Vincent is a seven-time Grammy nominee, winning the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album in 2017. In 2020, she was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Country Music News International was founded by Christian Lamitschka. “In the beginning, the focus of the online magazine was on reporting about country music mainly from Germany and Europe,” said Lamitschka. “We began to include CD reviews from various European country music artists and then Interviews with various artists from different backgrounds were added.

A little later, the focus expanded to include the country music scene in the USA and Canada. Here, Country Music News International quickly became established as a recognized magazine. Lamitschka interviewed artists such as #GeorgeJones, #WynonnaJudd, #TheOakridgeBoys, #HankWilliams Jr., #CassadeePope, #ShaniaTwain, #LeAnnRimes, #EddyRaven, #JakeOwen, #BuddyJewell and many other top artists.

My last 4 song EP I released called “Reimagined” which is acoustic piano versions of some of my most popular songs, actually charted #6 in country music on the day of release and #47 all genre.
