CMA MUSIC FEST ANNOUNCES

BOBBY MARQUEZ PERFORMANCE

Bobby Marquez 2018 CMA Music Fest Performance

to Raise Funds for Music Education

 NASHVILLE, TN (May 24, 2018) — Country
music’s biggest week is coming up June 7th through June 10th in
Nashville. And award-winning entertainer Bobby Marquez will be center
stage for the 2018 CMA Music Fest. Marquez will be performing on the CMA
Spotlight Stage in the Music City Center on Friday, June 8, 2018 at
11am. The singer/songwriter will follow his show with an autograph/meet
and greet in the Xfinity Fan Fair X inside the Music City Center.

“There
is nothing like it….every year, people from all over the world pack
Nashville for the love of country music. .Entertainers, like myself,
can’t thank the fans enough. And the CMA gives us an opportunity to all
get together to celebrate the music and have a blast,” shares Marquez.

The
fun-filled week of music, celebrity encounters and events raises money
each year for music education. The CMA Foundation has invested more than
$20 million dollars in music education through programs and instrument
donations at area schools since the year 2006. This year, the CMA
Foundation is kicking off a campaign called “It Starts with M.E.” (M.E.
standing for Music Education) #itstartswithME
to help communicate that music education is part of a well-rounded
education – as important as math, science, history, etc. – and that
research shows that youth who study music develop advanced skills and
abilities.

Bobby Marquez states, “I remember
how my first guitar changed my world. My cousin threw it away and I
couldn’t see it go to waste, so I pulled it out of the trash and taught
myself to play. That was the best thing to ever happen to me. It taught
me communication and discipline skills and over the years, gave me a
business education. I can’t wait to see the difference this event will
make in our future.”

Fans will be excited to
know that Bobby Marquez will also have pre-release copies of his new CD,
‘The Cowboy Way,’ available during CMA Music Fest week. The new album
features duets with the legendary Johnny Rodriguez and the Queen of
Bluegrass Rhonda Vincent.

Marquez is also
hosting his annual St. Jude benefit, Country with Heart that week along
with tv, radio and autograph appearances. A schedule is included below.
