Chase Rice Serves Up a Buzzin’ EP for Mardi Gras

Chase Rice, the self-proclaimed “pilot of the party flight,” delivers his debut EP Country As Me just in time for Mardi Gras.  “I couldn’t find a better week to drop my debut than one devoted to a nationwide party,” says Chase. Chase’s debut EP became available on Tuesday, March 8th for download on iTunes and other major online distributors.

This North Carolina native premiered his first single Buzz Back on the final episode of the hit TV show “Survivor Nicaragua,” where he made it through to the final round losing the big pay off by a mere one vote. When it comes to this newcomer’s musical style and talent, the tribe has spoken and it’s all good things! Buzz Back is already getting air-time and receiving rave reviews among radio personalities. “Buzz Back is a refreshing tune, no pun intended,” said Kent Terry at SiriusXM11. “The first time I heard it, I could tell that Chase had really brought his music to the next level.” He recently wrapped his debut video just before the Country Radio Seminar.  To view the video, visit his YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/OfficialChaseRice.

Chase has had a passion for country music ever since he saw Garth Brooks perform at just 10 years old. Inspired by his famous idol and his encouraging father, Chase began playing guitar in college and quickly began to excel at the instrument. It wasn’t until after his father’s death that he even thought about wanting to sing. From the lights of the football fields at the University of North Carolina Asheville to the rumble of NASCAR drivers speeding around the track, Chase proved to be a phene for intense career choices.  It wasn’t until he had an opportunity to step out of the pit crew of Hendricks Motorsports to grab the microphone center stage as a performer that Chase finally decided to pursue music full force. However, he put his dreams of becoming a singer on hold for a chance to compete on the CBS’ reality hit Survivor.  Now his persistent determination to succeed has him prepared to launch via his rowdy debut EP and single.  To stay updated on Chase, visit www.chaserice.com.
