The Woman
I Am

That’s
The Way Love Goes

I’m Right
Here

To Stay

In A
Woman’s Way

Before
You

I Ain’t
No Angel

He Loved
Me He Loves Me Not

I Won’t
Be Your Trophy

You Ain’t
Woman Enough

I Wish
That I Could Hurt That Way Again

Give a
Little More Love

The Woman
I am is the debut CD from newcomer Sarah Patrick. The 12 song set is solid from
beginning to end. The high points for me are “I”m Right Here” “I Won’t Be Your
Trophy” “Give a Little Love” and the title track “The Woman I Am.”

Sarah’s
voice is strong and country and at times reminds me of a young Sara Evans.

Even the
covers of well worn standards “That’s the Way Love Goes” and “You Ain’t Woman
Enough” are pleasant enough to listen to when Sarah Patrick sings them.

With that
said the production is weak and dull

The
arrangements are plain and lack imagination.

I would
really like to hear what Sarah Patrick could do with a great group of musicians
backing her and someone who could bring out her full potential in a studio.

I still
give it 4 out 5 stars for Sarah Patrick’s voice alone
