Nine of the 11 songs on this first self
titled cd were co written by former American Idol contestant, Casey
James. “Crying on A Suitcase”, which is one of the songs James
didn’t write is a hard song to get into, til you get to the chorus,
which makes up for the choppy melody of each of the verses. It’s a
toe tapping song and it tells a story of him trying to catch the
girl…you’ll have to listen to the cd to find out if he does….
This song was his 2nd
release off the cd.“Lets Don’t Call It A Night”, somewhat of a
sexy and bluesy song, written by James. And was his first single
off the cd.“Love the Way You Miss me” is a sexy ballad that shows
off plenty of James’ velvet voice and bluesy guitar playing.
Theres something for everyone on this
cd… more rock country then country but still enough to please
everyone…Good solid vocals and guitar pickin…
