Three times Grammy winner, Carrie Underwood is an American songwriter and singer. Her debut single, “Inside Your Heaven,” is the only album to launch at number one in the Billboard Hot 100 chart which makes Carrie Underwood the only country artist debutant to be launched at number one. Carrie’s “Before he cheats” and “Jesus, Take the wheel” are the best solo female albums to have broken all records in the history and world of country music. Her Storyteller is the fifth album that crushed all records to reach number one or two on the Billboard-200 chart. Carrie’s record-breaking achievements include a gross sale of 70 million albums. Carrie has the highest certifications as a female artist. As a country artist, she has the second-highest certification and as a female country artist, she has the highest certifications as per RIAA’s artist rankings.
Her early childhood saw her as a singer in church choirs and local events. But soon someone arranged her Nashville trip, and even then, she could not make a deal with Capitol Records. After a lot of odd jobs and a graduation degree in journalism, Carrie decided to retrace back into singing by participating in the American Idol show. But before that, she had left singing and tried finding a role to play in the practical world. She has her name in the Guinness Book of World Records and she is not once but twice slotted as the number one country artist in 2000 and once again in 2010. Forbes declared Carrie as the most successful American Idol winner. She has not only written and sang songs but has also done writing and also has a fitness fashion brand of her own.
When talking about inspiration, Carrie says music as a whole has always inspired her more than anything else. Melissa Etheridge says Carrie is a country music power. She was included in the Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2017 and the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2019. Awards have followed her everywhere and she has taken on to become the queen of country music. Life has taken a grand musical note for Carrie Underwood which continues to grow with each passing day.
