Bucky Covington Kicks Off “Hometown” Tour

Nashville, TN… (March 1, 2011)… Former American Idol season 5 finalist Bucky Covington has just embarked on a 30+ city “Hometown” tour to support his single “Hometown”. Hailing from the small town of Rockingham, North Carolina, Covington is passionate about reaching fans in small towns where national acts don’t always get the opportunity to visit. Covington’s “Hometown” tour is selling out quickly, and targeting small cities and stages with dates adding daily. Six of the eight previous “Hometown” shows were sold out. You can find “Hometown” on Covington’s self titled debut album, along with 3 other top 10 smashes: “A Different World”, “Good To Be Us” and “I’ll Walk”. Though Bucky is nearing completion of his sophomore album “I’m Alright”, with producers Mark Miller and Dale Oliver, he wanted to get a song back out to his fans in the interim.
