WSM “Live From The Archives” Hits Stores Tuesday

(Nashville, TN…) — Red River Entertainment recently announced the launch of its Nashville division, and the label is set to release Live From the Archives of 650 AM WSM – Volume One tomorrow,
Tuesday, June 25, 2013. For the first time in its illustrious 87-year
history, 650 AM WSM is opening its vaults of live, in-station
performances by world-renowned artists and writers. The 16-track compilation will be available on cd and digitally, and 650
limited, numbered two-jacket vinyl albums will be available on the WSM
Website and a select number of Nashville retailers beginning August 6,
2013.
This first volume features a heartfelt introduction from Country Music Hall of Famer Vince Gill and rolls into live, one-of-a-kind performances from some of Country Music’s biggest songwriters and artists including JD Souther, Rodney Crowell and Vince himself with the Time Jumpers. The unique project begins and ends with Reba McEntire’s emotional induction of long-time WSM announcerRalph Emery into the National Radio Hall of Fame.
